Sunny Republic - Dolphin Amber
Copper - 4.2%
Traditional copper coloured best bitter/session ale based on a 1920s recipe from the old Dolphin Poole brewery. Light malty notes are balanced by the Goldings hops and the Bramling Cross offers a faint aroma of hedgerows and blackberries. This beer came about as an experiment in to researching our Dorset premium ale and was never meant to leave the brewery. As word spread, popular demand meant we had to release the experimental batch for sale and brew all the time.

A classic Wessex style premium ale. Copper-red ale with a smooth and velvet sweet body and a refreshing balanced bitterness. Complex and rewarding malt tastes, with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel. This beer was developed whilst studying the recipes from the long since defunct Bournemouth, Shaftesbury & Milton Abbas breweries and adding a little Sunny Republic sparkle along the way.

IPA - 5.5%
Very modern India Pale Ale. Citrus dominated IPA with a slight astringency in the first sip that warns you of what`s about to come and an enduring bitter finish (IBUs 65). Back end taste and aromas of tropical fruits from the New Zealand Kohatu hops with Dana hops giving the sensation of being smacked in the mouth with a jar of marmalade.. kinda like Bob Dylan on acid.

Rewarding, light malt body giving a hint of digestive biscuits and fresh loaves that`s even easy drinking on a summer`s day. The whole beer is lifted by an earthy fruitiness offered by the hibiscus. Hedgerow aromas of Blackberries with a hint of citrus.

Shark Head Friesian Pilsener 5.0%
"Well hopped Friesian Pilsener It`s Cold and It Bites"
A modern take on a rare Pils variant. Historically having a bitter hop bite, this Friesian takes it one step further and builds on the German Spalt hops clean bitterness by adding a citrusy-pepper bite from the NZ Pacific Jade. Lagered for two whole weeks and finished off by running it for 24 hours through Australian Citra hops in our Sierra Nevada style hop torpedo.

Sunny Republic - St Wite's Ale
Old - 5%
A British first for a Winter Ale. We have imported a Trappiste yeast strain from Rocheforte abbey to ferment this amazing Winter Warmer. Based on the Dorset Cross recipe with some Bamberg Cara Aroma malt thrown in for good measure, this is a surprisingly easy drinking beer for such a complex Christmas pudding of a beer. Yummy fruit notes give way to rewarding and complex malt base.
