SEASONAL PRODUCTS

Seasonal
Admiral Keppel - Amber - 4.3%
A golden English ale brewed with the Admiral hop to infuse a traditional bitter with the delicate aroma of spiced oranges. Admiral Keppel was a friend of the Duke of Portland and his full story can be found below.

Seasonal
Ayrshire - Amber - 4.6%
Name after one of Welbeck's famous racehorses, this is a light Amber ale brewed using a blend of 5 different English and American hops. The nose is of spice and blackcurrants from English Bramling Cross, lifted with a subtle touch of citrus from the Cascade variety. The bitter note is smoothed and with sweet crystal malt to give a beer jam-packed with flavour.

Seasonal
Cathedral Beeches - Golden - 3.7%
The name of this classic ale stems from an area of woodland with towering Beech trees in which young lovers at Welbeck used to come and carve their names. This bitter is full of heady herbal aromas from British Phoenix hops, making it surprisingly delicious and certainly more interesting than many of its counterparts.

Seasonal
Cocoa Noel - Stout - 5.5%
Cocoa Noel 5.5% Chocolate stout brewed with Duffy`s cocoa nibs. Duffy Sheardown is one of only two producers in the UK who make chocolate from the raw bean. We`ve teamed up with him to bring you the very first UK chocolate stout brewed using roasted cocoa nibs.

Seasonal
Cubitt's Voyage - Pale - 3.5%
Highly hopped with wai-iti and waimea New Zealand varieties. Due to the low strength, this beer really showcases the best of these freshly harvested hops. Fresh, fruity, and deliciously moreish. This pale delight has been named after Captain Cubitt, who bravely sailed the 'Duke of Portland' on its maiden voyage to New Zealand in 1851. We presume that this stunning mid 19th Century ship is named after the Duke of Portland, who resided at Welbeck Abbey. Enjoy!

Seasonal
Duck Decoy - Pale - 4.6%
Duck Decoy is a quiet and secluded mixed broadleaf woodland spot, nestled beside the Great Lake. It`s a perfectly serene habitat for Welbeck`s duck population, and makes fantastic use of this famous series of lakes. This beer is filled with the mouth-wateringly fresh aromas of pear, orange and passion fruit, however at a low strength it`s a pleasantly light indulgence.

Seasonal
Ernest George - Ruby - 4.2%
a very deep brown ale is Ernest George, this beer’s namesake, was a well-known country house architect who worked on the Welbeck Abbey between 1900 and 1901. He was responsible for remodelling the interior of the Oxford Wing after it was decimated by fire. We’ve used a balanced blend of traditional roasted malts to brew a deep ruby ale with distinctively bitter-sweet chocolate notes. British Bramling Cross hops provide a subtly blackcurrant note in the background.

Seasonal

The Fruit arcade was a large glass house at Welbeck which housed a phenomenal collection of tropical fruits from all over the world, for which it was famous. This included one of the first successful cultivations of Pineapples. This recipe uses a blend of hops from three different regions to give a fresh and clean fruit punch flavour , with an overarching grapefruit flavour from Chinook.

Seasonal
Jess' Canadian Summer - Blonde - 4.5%

Seasonal
Mark's Lager & Lime - Lager - 4.4%
Whilst Mark is a valued member of the brewery team, it quickly came to our attention that he drinks lager. His tipple is a carefully chosen pint of mainstream lager, pepped up with either a twist of lime cordial or perhaps preceded by a dash of R White`s`. The brewers have decided this has to stop. They have brewed Mark his very own Lager & Lime` using the finest quality British lager malt and fresh zest and juice from Brazilian limes.

Seasonal
Menagerie - Blonde - 5.2%
Whilst most famous for his collection of books, Edward Harley was also fascinated by the natural world. To this end, the Portland Collection is also home to a fine array of paintings and illustrated manuscripts of flora and fauna from across the globe. This beer is single hopped with the exotic ‘Motueka’ hop, which has lusciously exuberant lemon and lime characteristics.

Seasonal
Nightingale - IPA - 5.5%
Named after a beautiful mature woodland spot right in the heart of the Welbeck estate, this IPA is as British as they come. This authentic English India Pale Ale is packed full of herbaceous notes from English Goldings and UK Cascade hops. The balance in this golden brew comes from honey-sweet caramalt.

Seasonal
Pauls "Get on Parade!" - Pale - 3.9%
Paul, one of our expert draymen, is a veteran of the British Army Royal Logistics Corp. We`ve brewed Paul`s favourite style of beer - a simple session pale with fresh hop flavours.

Seasonal
Pineapple Lodge - IPA - 4.8%
The Pineapple Lodge is a Grade II Listed building in the heart of the Welbeck village. It is at the corner of a walled garden specifically designed to cultivate pineapples at the height of their popularity in the 1700s. The balance of malt with American and New Zealand hops make this IPA satisfyingly full flavoured. Notes of tropical fruits are balanced with a rich and deep malt backbone from specialty Vienna Malt, giving an almost pineapple-like flavour.

Seasonal
Priesthills - Wheat - 4.2%
Raspberry wheat beer. Brewed using bucket loads of fresh raspberry puree to give this aromatic wheat beer a summery kick.

Seasonal

Seasonal
Seth's Hillbilly Rye - Amber - 4.5%
Seth is one of the newest recruits and has come to us with a passion for beer, vintage cars, and kitsch tattoos. This classically American red rye beer pays homage to his beloved Western cowgirl tattoo. This style of beer sees the addition of crystal rye malt in the mash for spice and heaps of delicious American hops to keep it punchy and fresh.

Seasonal
Sleeping Beauty - IPA - 5.3%
The Titchfield Library is a great oak-panelled annexe to the Welbeck Abbey. Over the years it has enchanted all visitors with it`s ornamental plasterwork ceiling. This delicately entwined display of flora and fauna is said to have been inspired by the Sleeping Beauty fairy-tale. We`ve brewed a honey-sweet IPA made with enchanting English Beata` hops. These flowers impart subtle notes of honey, apricots and almonds to this premium strength beer.
