The Fat Cat Brewery Tap Beers

Belgian - La Chouffe - Pale - 8% - £2.70
BOTTLE Legendary rustic, unfiltered farmhouse ale, lightly spiced.

Crouch Vale - Yakima Gold - Pale - 4.2% - £3.00
A very pale beer utilising finest Amarillo hops. Delicious!

Fat Cat - Bitter - Pale - 3.8% - £2.30
A pale gold bitter, with a distinct aroma from Sybilla and Pilgrim hops. Norfolk grown and malted, classic English pale malts give a distinctive taste, which blends well with the hop bitterness to give a hoppy, yet well-balanced flavour.

Fat Cat - Wild Cat - Pale - 5% - £2.80
A straw-coloured ale, with a high percentage of extra-pale Marris Otter malt giving some initial light, fruity sweetness. This is counter-balanced by a generous dollop of Challenger and Goldings hops, leaving you with an extremely long, dry finish and a refreshing bitterness

Belgian - Leffe Blonde - Blonde - 6.6% - £2.70
Originally brewed by monks near Dinant in Belgium, Leffe Blonde is a classic Abbey beer with smooth and well balanced fruity, warming flavours. The beer has hints of quince, gooseberry, bitter cherry and apple flavours together with hints of cloves, nutmeg and allspice.

Fat Cat - Cougar - Blonde - 4.7% - £2.80
Our palest beer yet - the result of using lager malt for a more gentle malt flavour. This beer is all about the American hops, whose citrus aromas burst out with a wonderful freshness. As you’d expect, the hops dominate the flavour also and lead into a crisp, dry finish that leaves your palate clean and ready for another pint!

Harviestoun - Bitter & Twisted - Golden - 3.8% - £3.00
Bitter & Twisted is a superbly-balanced, refreshingly-lively beer. It has a malty-sweet aroma with a floral, fruity hoppiness and a zingy, zesty flavour. Complex, rounded, sweet and dry; this is the connoisseurs' session beer par excellence!

Oakham - Bishops Farewell - Golden - 4.6% - £3.00
A strong premium beer of structured quality dominated by elaborate fruity hop notes, with a grainy background and dry finish.

German - Erdinger - Weissbrau - Wheat - 5.3% - £3.70
It is brewed using fine yeast according to a traditional recipe and, of course, in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law. Even today, the beer is still bottle-fermented in the traditional way; it takes three to four weeks for Erdinger Weissbier 'with fine yeast' to mature.

Fat Cat - Marmalade Cat - Amber - 5.5% - £2.90
The colour of burnished copper, with a markedly bitter finish from the generous use of Goldings and Progress hops. Flavoursome English pale malt is blended with speciality Belgian malt to add balance and a smooth finish, which lasts and lasts.

Fat Cat - Honey Ale - Malty - 4.3% - £2.70
A golden coloured ale, combining the full flavour of English pale and crystal malts with Norfolk honey, giving a sweetish, yet full-flavoured ale. The spicy notes of Aurora hops combine well with the honey to give a smooth finish, with a notable, hoppy bite..

German - Erdinger - Dunkel - Dark - £3.70
Easy drinking and soft, toffee bitter-sweet flavour.

Fat Cat - Meow Mild - Mild - 4.3% - £2.80
Our Mild is brewed slightly stronger, to achieve a fuller flavour. We blend five different types of malt for a complex, yet smooth, dark, satisfying ale. The hops are kept strictly in check, to allow the beauty of the malt flavours to dominate.

Broad Oak Cider - Moonshine - Cider - 7.5% - £3.40
Brian Blunt has been making real cider for over 25 years – don’t confuse this with any similarly named or branded concentrate – this is the real craft cider. Moonshine is a classic cider skilfully blended for a medium crisp refreshing taste. A premium strong cider that defies the ABV!

Broad Oak Cider - Premium Perry - Perry - 7.5% - £3.40
A sweet but refreshing perry with a fresh tasting pear flavour and a wonderful pear aroma. A CAMRA Gold Award winner in 2009.

Czech - Budweiser Budvar - Lager - £3.60
Budweiser Budvar, the original Budweiser, is a classic of the style. Medium gold colour with quite a persistent white head. Slightly soapy, perfumed floral note on the nose at first, before a gentle, grassy hoppiness emerges and just a hint of toast. On the palate it is mellow and smooth, with quite a creamy texture and moderate, subtle hop bitterness.

German - Veltins Pilsner - Pilsner - £3.60
Brewed according to the German Purity Law of 1516, “Fresh” VELTINS only uses pure malt, aromatic hops, yeast, and soft water ( the full bodied, soft water still emanates from the original springs in the mountains surrounding Grevenstein, an area of natural beauty protected as a Nature Reserve ).
