Magazine Hotel Beers

Peerless - Golden Dragon - IPA - 4.4%
Pale session IPA

Brimstage - Trapper's Hat Bitter - Golden - 3.8%
A refreshingly hoppy session beer. Gold coloured with a complex bouquet, it provides a mouthful of fruit zest, with hints of orange and grapefruit.

Worthington's - Creamflow - Golden
Awaiting tasting notes from brewer.

InBev - Draught Bass - Malty - 4.4%
Brewed in Burton upon Trent since 1777, the most famous English ale in the world. From 2 strains of yeast to produce a complex, nutty, malty taste with subtle hop undertones.

Big Bog - Quagmire - Old - 6%
This strong bitter is brewed using Tipple pale ale malt. A good proportion of Crystal malt is also added for flavour, body and colour. Unusually ,a small proportion of Muscavado sugar is added to further complicate its rich flavours. Hopping for bitterness and aroma is proudly traditional, using established and old varieties of choicest Fuggles and East Kent Goldings. The result is a strong ale of copper to mid brown hew with a balanced bitterness evident from the first sip through well into the after palate. A balanced and eminently drinkable, strong ale.

Guinness - Guinness - Stout
The Classic Irish Stout

Westons Cider - Stowford Press - Cider - 4.5%
A light refreshing sparkling medium dry cider.

Broad Oak Cider - Chilli & Pear Perry - Perry - 4%
Broadoak’s Perry, dry, made a slightly lower ABV and infused with chilli.

InBev - Bud Light - Lager - 3.5%
Awaiting tasting notes from brewer.

InBev - Stella Artois - Lager
Crisp, mostly bitter and hoppy but with a good underbelly of malty sweetness. Subtle hints of lemon and tropical fruit, plus a little sourness, fill out the palate.

Molson Coors - Carling - Lager - 4%
skilfully brewed using lightly kilned British malts, aromatic hops and Carling's unique yeast to create a malty, sweet flavour, balanced with a hoppy 'clean flavoured' bitterness and the aroma of freshly harvested grain.
