Q: I already have a website, so why do I need YourRound?

A: We do not aim to replace your website, only to enhance it. Publishing your website with new beers every time you change a barrel is impractical unless you are a webmaster in your spare time. YourRound allows you to add a link to your website that will make it as live as it can be.

Q: Why do I need a mobile website?

A: You know that people are using mobile devices more and more to choose where they spend money. Your existing website is probably not designed to be viewed easily on a mobile, so we create one for you that is. It contains all your key information (food, drink, events, contact details and maps) without cluttering up the small screen with links and pretty pictures that take forever to download! Click here to see what your mobile site could look like with only a few minutes of your time.

Q: We run a busy Pub. I have no time to update it every time a beer changes.

A: You can update as often as you like, many Publicans do it once a day others as soon as the barrel changes, it is up to you. We have a really easy to use mobile barmanager that you can use to update using your smartphone. This is a mobile site, not an 'App', so will work on any smartphone.

Q: I'm signed up - how do I get the most from YourRound ?

A: The people who get the best results are those who regularly update and engage with their local drinkers. We have created a guide to how to get the most from using the system. Click here to download and print a copy if you need to.

Q: How do I add a BeerCAM to my website?

A: When you log in, there is a menu link to your BeerCAM. If you click on this your BeerCAM and unique website address (something like http://www.yourround.co.uk/BeerCam/Cheltenham/The-Great-Pretender/ASCN-1ZZ.aspx ) will be shown in the top bar. Your webmaster will know what this means and will be able to insert it into a link on your own website. When you update your account, it then takes about 30 seconds to be reflected in your website.

Q: Can you show me some samples of what I will get for my money?

A: Here are some sample documents printed direct from the system:

        Tasting notes

        Table Talkers

        Pump Clip Print

Q: Can you show me some samples of what I will get for my money?

A: The cost is currently £9.99 for each use of the system. You can register up to 6 months in advance and the account will be deleted automatically two weeks after the event.

Q: Why do I need a mobile website?

A: Your festival mobile site contains all your key information (beers, contact details and maps) without cluttering up the small screen with links and pretty pictures that take forever to download! Drinkers at the festival can scan your QR code (provided) and see the complete range on their phones and you can remove beers as they go off to show people what's remaining. Beers are listed in colour order from light to dark, as people tend to buy in this way at festivals.

Q: Can you show me some samples of what I will get for my money?

A: Here are some sample documents printed direct from the system:

        Tasting notes (no prices shown)

        Barrel Ends - Portrait

        Barrel Ends - Landscape

        Beer Tokens

        CSV Output to Excel

Q: The beer search works OK, so why should I create an account?

A: You can always use the home page beer search to find pubs, but if you sign up, we can fill bits in to make your life easier. You can also then add your favourite beers to your account and set up the system to alert you by e-mail to text when any of those beers become available locally. Also you can add your list of local pubs so they can connect to you and it allows you to then provide them anonymous (but constructive please) feedback on their service.

Q: Why is feedback anonymous?

A: We are not a pub or beer ratings site. There are loads of those doing a great job already. Your feedback is sent to the publican privately in the form of averaged scores on some key performance criteria. Any message you send will again be anonymous. We hope the effect of this is will be to encourage constructive criticism and genuinely help our Publicans to improve their service to you

Brewers

    Key Features

Q: What does it do for me?

A: By adding your products onto the database, it makes them available for landlords to choose as beers they have on sale and hence to publicise to drinkers where your beer is available. When you add new beers, all Landlords who already take your beer will get an alert that your new brew is on the way.

Q: What will it cost me?

A: Nothing. To add your details onto the database is free. If you want to get statistics, or generate a dynamic list of who has your beer on sale, there is a small charge. For the bargain price of £50 a year we offer a mobile site (designed specifically for mobile browsing) hosted by us with your entire beer inventory - basic users are only limited to displaying two. Each beer also has its own mobile page and a unique QR Code generated by us with links to which pubs currently have it on. Also included are Facebook 'Like' button so drinkers can share each page with their friends - Get on social media with zero effort.

Q: How do I register?

A: Go to the home page and click SIGN UP. The system requires postcode and e-mail address to connect you with other users so we first make sure your e-mail works with a verification code. To avoid mis-use, we then check every pub and brewer is bona fide. You can create your account instantly and validate it with a code we will e-mail you which then allows you to put in some basic details. You then need to wait for our admin staff to authorise you for full use which normally takes a few hours.

Q: How long will it take to put my details on the system?

A: An experienced user takes about 5 minutes to create an account and from then on about 2 minutes per new beer added. If you are a bit unsure of web accounts, allow up to an hour to put all your details on to include tasting notes and pump clip graphics.

Q: Why do I need a mobile website?

A: You know that people are using mobile devices more and more to choose where they spend money. Your existing website is probably not designed to be viewed easily on a mobile, so we create one for you that is. It contains all your key information (beers, contact details and maps) without cluttering up the small screen with links and pretty pictures that take forever to download! Click here to see what your mobile site could look like with only a few minutes of your time.

Q: I do not have the IT expertise. Can you help?

A: Yes, we can add your details and setup your account for you if you are unsure how to do this.

Q: Will I get any Spam?

A: Definitely not. We do not pass your details onto anybody else. You will get e-mails from time to time from our admin telling you about new features and ideas to improve your user experience.

Retailers
